Orange County’s Hurricane Recovery Efforts

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, we continue to work with Orange County Emergency Management and community partners to serve as a resource in their recovery efforts. Residents and travelers displaced by the effects of the hurricane can apply for Transitional Sheltering Assistance, and FEMA will pay the cost to stay in certain lodging providers for a limited period.

A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is open daily at Barnett Park to provide a one-stop shop for in-person individual and business assistance. Visit DisasterAssistance.gov, dial 800-621-3362 or download the FEMA mobile app for more information. In addition, the United Way Recovery Fund is available to help residents in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loan assistance is available for homeowners, renters, nonprofits, and businesses of all sizes affected by Hurricane Ian.

To view the latest Orange County Government update held on Oct. 10, watch the conference on YouTube or Vimeo. For emergency updates, visit ocfl.net/Ian.
